First and foremost, it is likely that your vehicle is equipped with a CPC Module. If you happen to have this module on your vehicle, not to worry.
The CPC Module has many functions, but there are two core functions related to tuning that we must address: VMAX and Torque Limitations.
VMAX, also known as a Governor or Speed Limiter is exactly that.
Torque Limitations tables exist to manage/limit torque output for various reasons.
The DME (Engine Control Unit) and CPC Module both have VMAX and Torque Limitations.
