PerformanceIQ (“the App”) is a mobile application designed for automotive performance enthusiasts. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how the App works. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

Location

The App requests access to your device’s GPS location. Location is used to: (1) find nearby E85 fuel stations, and (2) assist with GPS-based performance measurements. Location data is used in real time and is never stored on our servers or shared with third parties.

Bluetooth

The App requests Bluetooth access to connect to OBD2 scanners and Dragy GPS devices. Bluetooth data (vehicle sensor readings, GPS speed data) is processed locally on your device only. We do not transmit, store, or share any Bluetooth data externally.

User-Entered Data

Data you enter (car profile, run logs, tune notes) is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it using the app’s built-in share feature.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifiers.
• We do not collect payment information.
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not run advertisements.
• We do not sell any data to third parties — ever.

4. Third-Party Services

The App connects to the following external services:

• NREL Alternative Fuels API — E85 station lookup
• Open-Meteo API — Weather data for density altitude calculations

These services receive only the minimum data required (e.g., your state/region). No personal identifiers are sent.

5. Data Storage

All app data (car profiles, run logs, tune notes) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.

6. Children’s Privacy

PerformanceIQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
